Nanoneedling
Nanoneedling is one of the most effective non-invasive skincare treatments for rejuvenating and refreshing your complexion. It works by creating tiny microchannels in the skin with microscopic tips, allowing active serums to deeply penetrate where they can work their magic. The result? Smooth, radiant, and glowing skin — without the downtime.
Treatment Areas:
Face
Neck
Décolleté
Body
What Makes It Special:
Unlike traditional microneedling, nanoneedling doesn’t puncture the skin, making it completely non-invasive and painless while still delivering incredible results.
Safe for all skin types and tones.
Excellent for fine lines, hyperpigmentation, uneven texture, enlarged pores, dullness, and loss of elasticity.
Delivers an instant glow, perfect before an event or as part of your regular skin routine.
Because it’s non-invasive, there is zero downtime. You can get right back to your day with only fresh, luminous skin to show off.
By driving powerful serums deeper into the skin, it enhances absorption and boosts the effectiveness of your skincare, helping stimulate collagen and elastin for firmer, healthier skin over time.
Frequency of Treatment
Initial Series: 3–6 treatments spaced about 2–4 weeks apart (depending on skin type, concerns, and goals).
Maintenance: Once you’ve achieved your desired results, a monthly or every 6–8 weeks session helps maintain skin health and collagen stimulation.
Special Occasions: Because there’s no downtime and the results are instant, some clients also book a session a few days before an event for that extra fresh glow.

What is Nanoneedling?
Nanoneedling is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that utilizes a device with microscopic silicone tips to gently exfoliate the skin and enhance product absorption. Unlike traditional microneedling, which penetrates deeper into the dermis, nanoneedling targets the uppermost layers of the skin. There are no needles puncturing the skin, no bleeding, and no downtime.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Nanoneedling is a gentle, non-invasive skin treatment that uses extremely fine, shallow needles to create tiny micro-channels in the outermost layer of the skin. These micro-channels allow professional-grade serums to penetrate more deeply—up to 90–97% better than with topical application alone—helping the skin absorb active ingredients more effectively. The treatment works by stimulating the skin’s natural repair process while infusing it with hydration and nourishment, resulting in a smoother, brighter, and more refreshed appearance.
Unlike microneedling, which penetrates deeper into the dermis to address more advanced concerns such as acne scars, deep wrinkles, and stretch marks, nanoneedling focuses only on the surface level of the skin. This makes it ideal for improving texture, softening fine lines, evening out skin tone, and enhancing overall radiance. The procedure is comfortable, requires little to no downtime, and most clients experience only mild redness that fades within a few hours. Because of its gentle nature, nanoneedling is often considered a perfect “maintenance” or “glow” treatment, leaving the skin looking plump, hydrated, and rejuvenated without interrupting daily activities. This treatment is perfect to add-on to your next Hydrafacial.
-
Most providers do not recommend nanoneedling if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Even though it’s gentler than microneedling, the procedure still involves stimulating the skin with tiny needles and using active serums. Many of those serums (like retinols, growth factors, or certain peptides) are not considered safe during pregnancy or nursing. On top of that, there just isn’t enough clinical research confirming nanoneedling’s safety for expectant or breastfeeding mothers. If you are pregnant or breast feeding and are interested in getting this treatment please talk with your doctor and provide us with documentation that approves you for this treatment.
-
Redness: The skin may look slightly pink or flushed right after treatment, similar to a light sunburn. This usually fades within a few hours.
Mild sensitivity: Some people notice their skin feels a little tight, warm, or tingly for a short period after.
Dryness or flakiness: Because the skin is stimulated, it may shed a little over the next day or two as new, fresh skin comes forward.
-
Nanoneedling is safe for most skin types and tones because it works only on the surface of the skin, minimizing risks like hyperpigmentation or scarring. It’s not recommended for those with active acne, open wounds, certain skin conditions like eczema or rosacea, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding. For most clients, it’s a gentle, customizable treatment that can improve texture, hydration, and overall radiance.
-
Nanoneedling has little to no downtime. Most people leave the treatment with a slight pink or flushed look, similar to a mild sunburn, which usually fades within a few hours. Some may notice mild tightness or light flaking over the next day or two, but it’s very minimal compared to deeper treatments like microneedling. You can typically go back to work or normal activities right after the procedure.
-
When nanoneedling is added on to our Deluxe or Platinum HydraFacial, it adds about 30 minutes to your service. If you book a nanoneedling facial on its own, the treatment typically takes about one hour without any additional add-ons.
-
No, it does not hurt.
-
Immediately after a nano-needling treatment, you can expect a healthy glow and enhanced plumpness due to increased circulation and the infusion of active products.
Over the next 1-3 days, radiance continues to build as the serums keep working and the skin begins recovering from the micro-channels.
Within 1-2 weeks, more noticeable improvements in texture, fine lines, and tone develop as cell turnover takes place.
While you’ll see benefits after a single session, the best results typically come from a series of treatments, usually 3-6 sessions spaced 2-4 weeks apart, since the effects are cumulative.
-
We recommend waiting 24 hours after treatment to apply makeup.
-
Results from nanoneedling typically last about 2-4 weeks, depending on your skin type, concerns, and how consistent you are with your home skincare routine. Many people notice their skin looks smoother, brighter, and more hydrated right away, with the “glow” lasting for several weeks.
For longer-term benefits, providers often recommend doing a series of treatments (usually 3–6 sessions spaced a few weeks apart), and then maintaining results with occasional follow-up treatments and a good at-home regimen.
-
Not everyone is an ideal candidate for nanoneedling, even though it’s a gentle and safe treatment for most skin types. You should avoid nanoneedling if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, anyone with active acne, open wounds, skin infections, or cold sores, eczema, psoriasis, or severe rosacea or if you have had recent cosmetic procedures like injectables, chemical peels, or laser treatments.

To ensure the best results from your nanoneedling treatment, please follow these simple steps before your appointment:
Avoid Active Skincare Products: stop using retinoids, retinols, exfoliating acids (AHA, BHA), benzoyl peroxide, or any other strong actives at least 3–5 days before treatment.
Pause Hair Removal: avoid waxing, threading, or depilatory creams in the treatment area for at least one week before. Shaving is fine up to 24 hours prior.
No Sunburn or Tanning: do not tan (sun or tanning beds) and avoid sunburns for at least 1 week before. Always wear SPF leading up to your appointment.
Skip Other Treatments: refrain from Botox, fillers, chemical peels, or other resurfacing treatments for 2 weeks before nanoneedling.
Health Considerations: let your provider know if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have active skin infections, open lesions, or chronic skin conditions in the treatment area.
-
After your nanoneedling treatment, your skin will be more sensitive as it heals and absorbs serums. Following these simple guidelines will help protect your skin and maximize your results:
Avoid makeup for 24 hours to let your skin recover.
Stay out of direct sun exposure and always apply a gentle, broad-spectrum SPF.
Skip harsh skincare products (like retinols, exfoliants, or acids) for at least 3–5 days.
Avoid sweating, hot showers, saunas, and workouts for the first 24 hours, since heat and sweat can irritate the skin.
Do not pick, scratch, or exfoliate your skin, even if you notice flakiness.
Stick to gentle hydration, use a soothing, non-active moisturizer and hydrating serums recommended by your provider.
Stay consistent with sunscreen daily to protect your results and prevent pigmentation.
Most people find their skin feels back to normal within a day or two, but keeping your routine simple and protective during this time ensures the best outcome.
-
First 24 Hours:
Cleanse with only lukewarm water (no cleansers or scrubs).
Avoid all makeup, sunscreen, or skincare products.
Keep skin hydrated with a gentle, soothing serum or moisturizer recommended by your provider.
Days 2–5:
Use a gentle cleanser (fragrance-free, non-foaming).
Apply a hydrating serum with hyaluronic acid or peptides (avoid retinols, vitamin C, or acids).
Follow with a light, calming moisturizer to restore the skin barrier.
Begin using a mineral-based sunscreen daily, reapplying as needed, but avoid prolonged direct sun.
After Day 5 (or when skin feels fully recovered):
Slowly reintroduce your regular routine. Start with antioxidants (like vitamin C), then gradually add in retinols or stronger actives if you normally use them.
Continue prioritizing hydration and daily sunscreen to extend results.
